Pentiment was a gallery-wide installation, featuring precisely calibrated lights such to project silhouette shadows and abstract color onto the walls, in the shape of both text and figures. It consists of two sub-works-- the free-standing painted diptych "Synthesis" and the floating text-based "Disclosures". The lighting was very low, just enough to see the works and enact the projections. Depending on the viewer's movements and position, the images would appear differently-- either revealing aspects or the order of their construction, or appearing as complete images.
